How to Apply

Applying to ASC English is simple.

Step 1 – Choose Your Student Type

Select the application process that matches your current situation.

  • International Student (Outside the U.S.)

  • Transfer Student (Currently studying in the U.S.)

  • Change of Status Applicant

  • U.S. Resident / Part-Time Student

Step 2 – Complete the Application

Submit your completed application and all required documents to info@ascenglish.edu.

Step 3 – Receive Your Admission Decision

Our Admissions Team will review your application and contact you with the next steps.

Admission Requirements

Requirements vary by student type but generally include:

  • Completed application

  • Passport or photo ID

  • Financial documentation (if applicable)

  • Additional immigration documents (if applicable)

Placement

Most students take an English placement test before classes begin to ensure they are placed in the appropriate level.

Admission Policies

Admission policies are available on the ASC English website, in enrollment materials, and through the Admissions Office. Our staff provides guidance by email, phone, and in-person advising regarding admission requirements, application procedures, tuition, placement, and enrollment.

To register for the Super A program, please contact us to download the Application & Instructions document and submit the completed forms to our office by fax or regular mail. Refer to the appropriate checklist below to avoid delays during the application process. Please do not hesitate to

contact us if you have any questions.

If you are an agent, please use the appropriate application for your student (Initial Student or Transfer Student). If you have not worked for us before as an agent, please contact us directly to first establish a written agreement.

Initial students

Students who currently reside in a foreign country and who require an F-1 visa to enter the United States, or who need to change their visa status to F-1

Checklist:

1. Complete the application form for initial students

2. Pay the initial fees: $150 Application Fee, $250 Enrollment Deposit, and $100 Global Express Fee

If you need to change your visa status to F1: $550 Application Fee, $1050 First Month Tuition Deposit

3. Submit a copy or scan of your valid passport with picture and identifying information

4. Submit financial certification, proving that you have a minimum balance of US$9000 ($25000 for visa status change students). This document must be less than 6 months old, written in English, and show the amount in US Dollars

5. If you submit a sponsor’s bank statement (family member, another individual, or organization), have your sponsor complete the Affidavit of Support.

Transfer students

Students who already have an F-1 visa, and who are currently studying at another institution in the United States with a valid Form I-20

Checklist:

1. Complete the application form for transfer students

2. Pay the initial fees: $120 Application Fee and $250 Enrollment Deposit

3. Submit copies of all of your previous Forms I-20 (1st and 3rd pages)

4. Submit a copy or scan of your valid passport with picture and identifying information

5. Submit a copy or scan of your F-1 visa stamp

6. Submit a copy or scan of both sides of your I-94 card

7. Submit financial certification, proving that you have a minimum balance of US$5000. This document must be less than 6 months old, written in English, and show the amount in US Dollars

5. If you submit a sponsor’s bank statement (family member, another individual, or organization), have your sponsor complete the Affidavit of Support.

Part-time students

Students who do not require a Form I-20 or F-1 visa support from ASC English

Checklist:

1. Complete the application form for part-time students

2. Pay the initial fees: $120 Application Fee and $250 Enrollment Deposit
